Key Features Of Circumferential Seam Welding Lathe

Circumferential welders are something which is designed to solve your Circumferential & Linear TIG, Plasma & MIG welding requirements. Designed specifically for automatic welding applications, these are used for maximum welding rate and quality with minimal labor cost. Circumferential seam welding lathe consists of detachable fixture control pendant. These weld joints can have various joint configurations, including butt, filet, overlap, and joggle.

Some Of The Key Features Of Circumferential Seam Welding Lathe:

·   These are used in producing high quality welds with minimum distortion on circumferential (girth) weld joints on a wide variety of parts and part shapes.
·   The joint of the machine is firmly clamped into position and the weld head is precisely moved along the length of the weld joint.
·  The weld lathe can be optionally fitted with two or more weld heads so multiple welds can be performed simultaneously or sequentially.
·   Available with direct helical gear drive with monolithic rigid containing all steel frame
·  These are rigid as it is made using all steel construction and also thus, they hold a precision high capacity preloaded bearing system.
·   Independent tailstock pusher system maintains the alignment over full range of thrust.

Circumferential seam welding lathe is primarily made of stainless steel and carbon steel. The large scale cryogenic storage tank of the machine is designed at the site. Consisting of characteristics like strong penetrability and smooth welding quality, this can be rotated but are often welded in a lathe. Works from external (top) side of weld joint, these are available both in single and multi-pass weldings which can perform TIG, MIG/MAG and SAW welding. This machine find its application in sectors like liquefied natural gas (LNG) cylinder, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder, large scale cryogenic storage tank and porcelain enamel tank.
